Six lots of individual pieces of glass survive, in addition to the leaded panels already catalogued. These lots, nos. FL 1-6 comprise nearly five hundred pieces of glass, most of which come from windows that did not survive the fire at Forest Lawn.
France, northeast; c. 1525-1535 (Forest Lawn: Glendale, California)
France, Rouen (?); c. 1535-1540 (Forest Lawn: Glendale, California)
Northern Lowlands; c. 1550 (Forest Lawn: Glendale, California)
Much of this glass suffered in a recent fire, as is noted in the Introduction. In view of the importance of the collection, and the existence of photographic records and lists prior to this catastrophe, it was decided to depart from normal Corpus Vitrearum practice in the Checklist and to document the condition of the panels before they were damaged, as well as their current state.
